Hi, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the game.
ReplyDeleteMy only real complaint is that I wished Ichiro's route was longer- I was interested to see more development into his character as Jun and Kan had. He seemed too cookie cutter, and the ending was abrupt, which was disappointing since I loved Jun and Kan.
The art is nice- clean, good backgrounds and everything is nicely coloured (ie/ no glaring colours and shading is nice too). I didn't realise I could save throughout the game until I accidently double tapped on my mac though. A visible save button would be a nice add?
Also, if you ever make a longer game, please include a skip function. There was no need to in this one, as it was short, but I wanted to give as much constructive criticism as possible as it seems you'll continue to make excellent games in the future which I hope you could one day make a liviing off.
Lastly, if there was a donate button, I'd donate- the game is worth it.

I just wanted to say that it would be great if there was a picture of the couple at the end of each story (or maybe just at the happy endings). I mean, it's easy to imagine the couple but it would be sweet(?) if we could see a drawing of Miyuki and Kan/Ichiro/Jun sharing a kiss or walking hand in hand (as the one of Jun and Miyuki under the water, this one is really beautiful!).

i think i only got 8 endings... either that or i miscounted somewhere ^^;
ReplyDeleteI felt like I sacrificed an elaborate story for good artwork (though the anatomy for Shizuka looked like it could of used little improvement - it seemed like she was slouching over)
Frozen Essence has an amazing story line & its because of that I was able to get pass the artwork & I continue to support the creator - however for Idol Crush I have to admit I was disappointed it wasn't longer - on top of that the endings were way to easy to get - it didn't challenge me in any way
I was happy to play it though - I have the cg's in my photobucket account & now that I know they're from your game I want to re-title them so anyone who finds the picture might also find your game
